Claire studied her BSc (Hons) in Podiatry at Southampton University from 1995 – 1998. She then went on to work in the NHS in Oxfordshire for 13 years working in all areas of Podiatry but specialising in Musculoskeletal Assessment.
In the last five years Claire was the Musculoskeletal lead for Oxfordshire NHS Podiatry service working alongside fellow Podiatrists, Physiotherapists, Orthotists, Sports and Orthopaedic Consultants and GPs.
In 2000 Claire went on to achieve an MSc in Podiatry with the main emphasis being on Musculoskeletal Assessment, covering subjects such as Pain management, Rheumatology, Orthopaedics and Podopaediatrics.
Claire has been working in the Footworx clinics since it’s inception alongside her NHS work and has left the NHS five years ago to concentrate on private work and motherhood.
Daniel studied his BSc (Hons) in Podiatry at Southampton University from 1995-1998.
He worked in various hospitals and community clinics as a locum across Berkshire and West Sussex for a year. He then moved to the NHS Podiatry service in Oxfordshire and spent 10 years working in all areas of Podiatry treating mechanical foot problems and gained experience working in an orthotics Lab. He then obtained a hospital post, focusing on the Diabetic and high Risk foot, based in OCDEM at the Churchill hospital in
Oxford/ Horton Hospital Banbury working alongside fellow Podiatrists, Consultants, specialist Nurses and Orthotists.
Daniel left the NHS six years ago to develop the Footworx Clinics and provide a local private foot clinic service in Banbury and Chipping Norton. Also concentrating on his main areas of interest: Musculoskeletal assessment, sports Podiatry and orthotic design.
Daniel and Claire are currently exploring new ways of producing and designing foot orthotics, utilising state of the art technology.
Lois studied BSc (hons) Podiatry at the University of Southampton from 2011-2014 with a well rounded variety all over the country, including biomechanics, homeless and podiatric surgery clinics.
Upon graduating she joined the practice and the NHS in Oxfordshire, in which she specialised in high risk patients that included diabetic wound specialist clinics, nail surgery and caring for those with complex health needs, as well as general podiatry clinics. She worked closely with other podiatrists and health specialists such as physiotherapists, diabetic nurses, consultants and GPs.
She left the NHS in 2016 to concentrate on private practice.

We are registered with both the Health Professionals Council and the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists and are able to provide care for patients who are registered with many of the large medical insurance companies such as Simply Health, AVIVA and WPA. Referrals to our service come from a number of different areas: Consultants, GPs, Physiotherapists, Health Insurance Companies and Self referral.
